Soy Wax KREVO 46A for Container Candles

KREVO 46A – soy wax developed for making container candles. It is suitable for candles poured into glass, ceramic and other candle-safe containers.

The wax provides good adhesion to container walls and helps achieve a smooth, aesthetically pleasing surface, making it suitable for both small batches of handmade candles and larger-scale production.

KREVO 46A has a neutral scent, meaning the wax itself has no strong aroma. Its drop melting point is 45–47 °C. The wax is supplied in flake form, making it convenient to weigh and dose.

The wax is based on hydrogenated soybean oil. The product is GMO-free.

KREVO 46A can be used for both unscented and scented candles. As the optimal result depends on the container, wick, fragrance oil, colourants and production method used, we recommend carrying out a test pour and burn test before producing a larger batch.

Storage

Store in a cool, dry and well-ventilated place in tightly sealed packaging. Protect from direct sunlight and heat sources.

Manufacturing Tips

For each new combination of container, wick and fragrance, we recommend carrying out a test burn.
If the candle burns too weakly or the melt pool is too small, try using a larger wick size.
If the flame is too large, the candle produces soot or the wick develops excessive carbon buildup, try using a smaller wick size.
Before pouring the wax, make sure the containers are clean, dry and at room temperature.
Before the first test burn, allow the candle to fully set and stabilise. In practice, we recommend waiting at least 48 hours.
Wax colour, fragrance oil, fragrance load, wick and container diameter can affect the candle's burning performance, so whenever at least one of these components is changed, we recommend carrying out a new test.
