Plastic Candle Mould for Square Candles
A high-quality, reusable plastic candle mould designed for making square candles. The mould is made from thick and durable transparent polycarbonate, making it long-lasting and suitable for repeated use.
The one-piece mould construction allows you to cast a precisely shaped geometric candle without side seam lines. The transparent plastic allows you to see the wax inside the mould and monitor the setting process.
The finished candle measures 38 × 38 mm at the base and 220 mm in height. Thanks to its tall and slim proportions, this mould is particularly well suited for creating elegant, minimalist square candles.
What Wax Can Be Used?
The mould is suitable for:
- paraffin;
- paraffin and stearin blends;
- plant-based waxes designed for pillar / moulded candles.
When using plant-based wax, it is important to choose wax specifically designed for pillar candles and moulding. Soft waxes intended for container candles are generally not suitable for this type of mould.
How to Use the Plastic Candle Mould?
There is a small opening at the bottom of the mould for threading the wick through. Thread the wick through the opening, tension it properly and secure it in place.
Before pouring the wax, the opening at the bottom must be securely sealed from the outside of the mould to prevent melted wax from leaking out. You can use a special candle mould sealing putty or another suitable sealing product for this purpose.
Once the mould is prepared:
- Melt the selected wax according to the manufacturer's recommendations.
- Prepare and tension the wick.
- Seal the wick opening at the bottom of the mould.
- Pour the wax into the mould.
- Allow the candle to cool and solidify completely.
- Carefully remove the finished candle from the mould.
The melting and pouring temperature depends on the wax used, so always follow the recommendations provided by the specific wax manufacturer.
